- visit loanconnectph.com (the "website")/LoanConnect Application (the "Application") of the relevant member of LoanConnect - we may use web analytic tools, including those of third parties, that use cookies to collect anonymous information and data generated from your activities when you visit the website (e.g. perform searches, access internal links);
- visit a 3rd party website and click on advertisements of a member of LoanConnect;
- use the Application;
- answer questions and/or provide information while using the website and/or the Application;
- submit your application forms; and
- file complaints, inquiries, or requests.
Types of personal data that we may collect:
Your name and other particulars such as, but not limited to, contact details, address, e-mail address, birthdate, educational background, gender, and occupation;
Financial information such as income, expenses, deposits, investments, and credit cards;
Employment details;
Information about your transactions with third parties;
Non-personal information provided by the electronic device you are using such as the IP address, operating system, browser type and version, and other machine-related identifiers; and
Specimen signatures.

In compliance with the Data Privacy Act, Client hereby agrees to give their true, correct information and consents to the gathering, processing, verification, and use of their Personal Data or information in their use of the Application, and to implement, grant, monitor, and enforce the Terms and Conditions and/or the terms under the Application. Client agrees to waive the confidentiality of their Personal Data or information to process their compatibility with various loan offers provided by Lenders and Financial Service Providers in Client's use of the Application and to be used in any market research or study of LoanConnect. Client also agrees to treat as confidential information any information of LoanConnect obtained during the course of their use of the website and/or the Application, including but without limitation, the identity, loan products, and services offered by the Lenders and Financial Service Providers, as well as any information pertaining to LoanConnect, its business, its operations, its processes, its affiliates, LoanConnect's and its affiliates' shareholders, directors, officers, employees, advisors, and agents. Client hereby undertakes to hold all confidential information in strict confidence, and not directly or indirectly disclose or permit to be disclosed any confidential information to any other person or entity.
How your Personal Data may be used, stored, and shared
Your Personal Data may be used, stored, processed, shared and disclosed by LoanConnect to its members, as well as third parties (as may be necessary and allowed by law):
- Legal. For legitimate purposes;
- Transactions. To provide services to you or implement transactions which you request, allow, or authorize, including responding to comments and questions you post and provide customer service as well as sending information, including confirmations, invoices, technical notices, updates, security alerts, support and administration;
- Policies and obligations. To comply with LoanConnect's internal policies and its reporting obligations to governmental authorities under applicable laws;
- Research. When we conduct studies and research such as automatic and manual profile analysis, behavioral modeling, for the purpose of reviewing, developing and improving our products and services;
- As necessitated by third parties (including vendors, agents, service providers) or members of LoanConnect who have agreed to be bound by terms requiring the protection required under applicable law:
- To support us in delivering our services and products to you, including sharing your Personal Data with banks, lenders, and other financial service providers engaged in consumer lending (each a "Lender" or "Financial Service Provider", as may be listed in the Application and updated from time to time) for:
- their verification and evaluation;
- assisting in the purchase of services from the Lenders or Financial Service Providers;
- provision of product information and related offers about the products and services of Lenders or Financial Service Providers.
- To comply with existing laws, rules, and legal processes;
- To implement our policies and terms of use or such other applicable policies with respect to the products and services that we provide;
- To address fraud, security, or technical issues;
- To protect our rights, interests, property or security, and that of our clients and third parties.
- Promotion. When we reach out to you regarding services information, including offers, promotions, discounts, rewards; and for personalizing your experience with our various touchpoints such as branches, call center, telemarketing, email, messaging and other channels;
- Investment and/or Acquisition. Sharing personal information when LoanConnect enters into a business agreement or negotiates a business agreement in connection with the sale or transfer of all, or part, of its business or assets;
- Anonymized Data. Aggregated and/or anonymized data may be shared with stakeholders.
Emails will not be used to collect Personal Data
Emails are not entirely safe. We will not use this Application to obtain confidential information from you such as your account numbers, passwords, and credit card numbers.
